Please carefully read the operating instructions before using the machine.
The temperature controller shall be stored in a well ventilated dry room, avoid violent collision during the transportation, if it is stored for more than one year, calibration of the indication value of the temperature controller shall be made so as to ensure its normal operation.
Inspection of the temperature controller shall be carried out in strict accordance with test methods specified in the standard JB/T6302-92 Pressure Type Thermometer for Transformer, i.e. the bulb shall be soaked into the thermostatic bath to the maximum penetration depth, the meter head shall be mounted vertically, and readings shall be read out 10 minutes after the temperature is settled, if in the normal temperature air, it is hard to make judgment in strict accordance with 1.5 class precision.
When inspecting the indication value and the contact switch, the temperature controller shall be tested in the thermostatic bath, it is not allowed to push the meter pointer in a forced way and is not allowed to heat the bulb with fire;
Inspection of the digital display thermometer can be made by adopting the standard resistance box as the signal input according to Pt100 graduation, or by coordinated adjustment in the thermostatic bath after connecting it with the temperature controller. Pt100 Platinum resistance signal is not allowed to enter the computer directly, if this is necessary, the resistance signal must be sent to the computer through the analog signal generated by the temperature display (XMT-22A) made by our company.
The temperature indication controller shall be handled with care during inspection, arrangement and installation, and it shall be installed in strict accordance with the instructions, the extra capillary pipes shall be coiled into ring-type with a diameter over ф150mm, and shall be appropriately secured with sheath thereof every 300mm.
Prior to installation, firstly inspect if there is water in the mounting hole, remove it completely, if any, mount the bolts and carry out waterproof treatment for fear of damage of the bulb by frost, which consequently affects the normal functioning of the instrument.
With all these instructions observed and within twelve months from delivery, any defects due to poor workmanship which affects normal operation of the product will be repaired and adjusted by us free of charge.
Designation of Product Model:
BWY-802, 803 series temperature indication controllers are designed for measuring and controlling oil temperature of large transformer with a capacity greater than 1000KVA, they are also applicable to temperature measurement and control of other devices.
Provided with good protective performance, BWY-802, 803 series temperature indication controller is able to work normally under outdoor conditions. Within the controller, there are three groups of adjustable control switches, which can be used respectively for starting and signal alarm of the transformer cooling system. Besides, it is able to send temperature signal to the remote control center to synchronously display the transformer oil temperature.
II. Structure and operating principle
The temperature indication controller mainly consists of elastic element (bellows), capillary pipe and the bulb. The sealing system formed by these three parts is filled with temperature sensing liquid, when temperature of the measured object changes, the volume of temperature sensing liquid in the bulb will change accordingly. This volume increment is transmitted to the elastic element (bellows) within the gauge to make it generate a corresponding displacement. This displacement can indicate the measured temperature after being magnified by a mechanism and can drive the micro-switch to output a signal to actuate the cooling system so as to achieve control over temperature rise of the transformer.
BWY-802A, 803A series temperature indication controllers adopt combined sensing technology, which is designed according to the demand of large transformer user for the purpose of ensuring operating reliability and safety of large power transformer with a capacity over 8000KVA. Pt100 platinum resistance is built in the bulb of this product, which can transmit the temperature signal remotely to XMT-22A digital temperature display instrument at a place hundred meters away, and can output 4-20mA or 0-5V standard signal to the computer.
III. Features of the instrument
This instrument adopts total liquid filling and linear dial, thus improves the indication accuracy of the first one third of the meter scale, and expand the measuring range of the instrument (0-120℃).
The switch can be set arbitrarily in the full range of 0-120℃, its setting can be made merely by turning the knob.
Fitted with built-in platinum resistance and equipped with XMT-22A digital display instrument, the bulb can remotely indicate the temperature at top of the transformer, and can output 4-20mA or 0-5V standard signal to the computer.
Provided with max. temperature indicator pointer, can record the highest temperature which the measured object has risen to.
